Strategic partnership Steinweg and VSL SiloLogistics.

This autumn, the Rotterdam port multinational C. Steinweg Handelsveem and VSL SiloLogistics decided to join forces. Steinweg, operating on a worldwide scale, categorizes its activities under several product-oriented divisions. The Chemicals & Plastics Division wishes to develop further as a logistics service provider in the field of plastics. Thanks to the partnership with VSL SiloLogistics, direct access to knowledge, expertise and projects is being expanded. Joint knowledge and experience can be exploited optimally through cooperation and integration, as a result of which the two companies can also carry out larger projects together.

VSL SiloLogistics is ambitious and wishes to grow quickly, both within and outside Europe. In this respect, an extensive, global network is vital. Steinweg can offer such a network. By now, the strategic partnership has actually been accomplished in the form of a joint tender offer for INEOS in Liverno (Italy).
