New CFO for VSL SiloLogistics.
Recently, Allard van Pelt was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in the management team of VSL SiloLogistics. He replaces Jan Tammeling, who postponed his retirement for some time when VSL SiloLogistics continued as an independent logistics service provider, but is now really going to enjoy his well-earned retirement.
Allard S. van Pelt has ample work experience in diverse branches of industry and with different kinds of companies at different stages of their existence. He has worked in the logistics sector before, but also in the world of media & entertainment, retail and telecommunications, the cable industry and HR Consultancy. Within the scope of preparing and assessing business plans and budgets, he has gained extensive experience in the capacity of ultimate financially responsible person. Furthermore, he has been in charge of large complex projects and financial, human resources, IT and facilities departments at business units of large and medium-sized undertakings.
With the arrival of Allard van Pelt, the entire administrative department also moved from VSL SiloLogistics to the head office in Zevenbergen (the Netherlands). A move marking the next step - and one of the last - in the process of disentanglement from the former parent company Vos Logistics. In a next newsletter, the new CFO will say more about his new team and the initial experiences in Zevenbergen.
