Letter of Intent aims at continuation Tessenderlo Chemie-VSL partnership.

After a hectic tender period Tessenderlo Chemie (TC) again opted, late November, for VSL SiloLogistics as its logistic services provider for storing, packing and transporting basic chemicals. The Letter of Intent looks at continuation of the partnership, from January 2011 to the end of 2017. It includes several additional services currently already being fulfilled by VSL for TC such as packing in Big Bags and 25 kg bags.

The TC / VSL Tessenderlo working relationship started thirteen years ago. The way VSL SiloLogistics has been performing for Tessenderlo Chemie since 1998 is generally regarded as the norm for the customer driven packing process for phosfates and sulfates, source materials for such products as fertilizer and feed additives. CEO Jacques Kleinkramer is obviously happy with the confidence TC has again expressed in VSL. 'TC is a substantial and important player we have a longstanding working relationship with. This 'given' does help in a tender process, but it doesn't mean we can take things for granted. The competition will jump at opportunities like this, when it gets a chance. Therefore, we went all out and are happy to have (again) won the tender.'
