Innovative BioWanze in partnership with VSL SiloLogistics in Hoogerheide.

'Since the separation from Vos Logistics, VSL SiloLogistics is not really a family company anymore and at the same time we are just that, now more than ever. We demonstrated that when BioWanze suddenly came on line in Hoogerheide, colleagues from Terneuzen, from Oss and even from head office came together to help out, said Pieter Nogarede, Site Manager of VSL SiloLogistics in Hoogerheide. Until recently, he and his colleagues were working pretty well exclusively for Cargill, but since May a new client has been added: The Belgian BioWanze.

BioWanze is a new and innovative company that produces bio-ethanol from wheat and beet. Since April they have targeted a yearly production of 300 million litres of bio-ethanol from 800'000 ton wheat and 400'000 ton of sugar beet, resulting from its innovative industrial process.
