INEOS-Lillo Chooses VSL SiloLogistics.
From October 1st VSL SiloLogistics will be working for the INEOS site in the Belgian Lillo, part of one of the largest independent chemical concerns in the world. Over the next 5 years VSL SiloLogistics shall support INEOS Lillo in the areas of Purchasing, On- and Offsite Logistics & Transport. Leo van Overeem is appointed as Site Manager for ‘Lillo'.
After a drawn out tender INEOS-Lillo chose VSL SiloLogistics. Commercial Director Jos Müller of VSL SiloLogistics: 'According to our colleagues at INEOS the demonstrated professionalism in the initial rounds played an important part in the process of decision making, that's a great compliment. We see here the confirmation that we took the right heading last year. With the whole VSL SiloLogistics family we are ready to make a success of the cooperation with INEOS Lillo. INEOS has grown since its birth in 1998, into the third largest independent chemical concern in the world. INEOS has 64 facilities worldwide and employs a staff of approximately 15'500. In Belgium the majority of the portfolio is intermediates, plastics and specialities which can be found in all aspects of modern life.
