Customers want flexible, proactive suppliers.
There has been a visible drop in turnover in Dutch industries over the last few months. In transport & logistics many have lost there jobs, also the Petrochemical Giants are having to tighten their belts. Jos Müller, Commercial Director, at VSL SiloLogistics: "Such heavy weather is pretty unique. VSL SiloLogistics is also feeling the pressure of the crisis, however we are beginning to see positive signs. Many of us have already had experienced such a crisis and knew then how to deal with it. There will probably be some changes in the structure of companies in the Petrochemical Industry (or parts of) and some companies will be victims of a market system that no longer functions. Other companies, in other parts of the world, are biding there time and for them also, we can, as a flexible and many facetted logistic service supplier, be quickly on-line. Customers are finding our network interesting, being well located for storage and transportation of bulk goods. For these customers we can react fast facilitating both import and export flow. Our specialists can set in for projects, large or small, near or far. Customer orientated, flexible and innovative, that's where customers can always count on us."
